ERP consulting services we provide

Dominate Solutions delivers five services: ERP selection, ERP implementation, project recovery, integration and custom development, and post-go-live managed support, on Acumatica and Odoo, for companies between $25M and $250M in revenue.

The through-line is accountability for the outcome. Most ERP engagements are scoped against a go-live date, which is a date the partner can hit while the business gets nothing it was promised. We scope against the numbers the client is trying to move: how fast cash converts, whether job cost is visible while work is in progress, how long the close takes. We are still there when those numbers are measured.

What we do

Five ERP services:

ERP selection and vendor evaluation

Evaluation of the platforms genuinely in play for your business, run against your actual requirements rather than a feature matrix downloaded from a vendor. We have sat on both sides of this, including year-long vendor selections for industries where the shortlist was nothing like the obvious one.

Eight products isn’t diligence. It’s the absence of a filter.

ERP implementation

Full delivery on Acumatica or Odoo: discovery, configuration, data migration, integration, testing, training and go-live. Job costing, project accounting, payroll, equipment, field capture and reporting configured to how the business actually runs.

A perfectly configured system nobody agreed to is a perfectly configured failure.

Project recovery

We are the firm called when someone else's implementation stalls. Recovery starts with a diagnosis, not a configuration change. The cause is usually an absent executive sponsor, a field and office that never agreed, or a partner who configured to a demo rather than to operations.

We won’t rebuild until we know why the last attempt failed.

Integration and custom development

Connecting the tools your team already relies on (Procore, estimating and takeoff, field time, payroll), so data is entered once and flows everywhere. Where nothing off the shelf fits, we build it: crew schedulers, project migration tools, field applications, custom integrations against the platform API.

Building the app is the easy part. Keeping it alive is the part we take on.

Managed support after go-live

Ongoing optimization, new-module rollouts, reporting work, upgrade support and the day-to-day questions that come with running a system. This is our highest-retention service, and the reason is not lock-in.

How to choose an ERP implementation partner

Every ERP partner will tell you they are different. That one question separates them. At Dominate Solutions the senior person who scopes your project is the senior person who runs it, not a demo resource who hands you to whoever is on the bench.

ERP engagement models and how we scope them

Do you work on a fixed fee?

Yes, with one exception: data migration. We will fix-fee the implementation because we control that work. We will not fix-fee the cleanup of data we have not seen and did not create. Nobody can price that honestly, and a partner who quotes it anyway has either padded the number or is planning a change order. Clients appreciate hearing that up front more than they appreciate the alternative.

What do you need from us?

An engaged executive sponsor and a dedicated project owner. ERP implementations are not done to a company, they are done with one. The single strongest predictor of failure we know is an owner, CEO or CFO who is not personally involved. The project loses to the next operational fire, every time. If you cannot commit that, the timing is wrong and we will say so.

How long does an implementation take?

Four to nine months for most mid-market construction implementations, driven far more by data condition and internal availability than by software. Unapplied cash, out-of-balance subledgers and job cost history that was never reconciled are what move the date. We look at the data before we quote the schedule.

Do you work outside Texas?

Yes, we deliver nationally. Texas is our home market and in-person delivery there is a genuine advantage, but we work regularly across Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, the Carolinas, Arizona and the Mountain West, and nationwide on referral and channel-originated work.

An implementation people actually adopt

We start with how your teams actually work, not how software is supposed to work. We spend time inside real workflows, turn complexity into clear processes, and build a system people can use from day one. That’s why GCATS doesn’t just have Acumatica: they use it.

  • Faster adoption across teams
  • Fewer workarounds outside the system
  • More confidence from the field to the office
